Afterwork with MaxContact: An Evening For Contact Centre & CX Professionals

A free community evening for contact centre leaders in Manchester. Honest conversation, great speakers, no sales pitches. 13th May, 6–8:30pm

Is AI making brands more or less trustworthy?

It’s the question contact centre leaders are sitting with right now — and on 13th May, we’re bringing the conversation to Manchester.

Afterwork with MaxContact is a community evening for senior contact centre and CX professionals. Around 40 people in a room. No vendor pitches, no panels of people selling something. Just an honest conversation with people working through the same challenges you are.

What’s on

Before it goes public, you’ll hear brand new Voice of the UK Consumer data — fresh findings on how customers actually feel about AI, trust and contact right now.

Dr Nicola Millard, Principal Innovation Partner at BT, takes the spotlight to explore what AI and automation are really doing to customer trust — drawing on her first-hand experience bringing AI into BT’s contact centres and what the research actually shows.

A panel of operational leaders — including Jason Stanton, Customer & Operations Director with 25+ years across BT, Sky and Telefónica — gets into the frontline reality: the small moments that build or break trust, and what great looks like when agents are given permission to do the right thing.

Nick Crawford, one of the UK’s leading AI trainers, closes with something practical: a simple framework for getting reliable results from GenAI, with real contact centre examples you can use immediately.

Who’s in the room

Contact centre directors, ops, performance, compliance and L&D leaders. People responsible for how customers experience your brand.

Spaces are limited — and it’s free to attend.

Food, drinks and a genuinely good evening included.
