Channel Live – How was it for you?

September 20, 2017

Last week saw the Invosys team decamp to Birmingham for the highly anticipated two day Channel Live event.

A brand new exhibition, specifically geared at the channel, the industry had high hopes – and it didn’t disappoint.

The event itself was slick, with all key players in attendance and a definite buzz throughout. The seminar theatres hosted a variety of key note sessions with fantastic speakers – we particularly enjoyed “Shadow Channels – Act Now Before You End Up Irrelevant”, hosted by Jay McBain of Forrester, along with “Preparing for the End of ISDN”, hosted by Dominic Black of Cavell Group.

Stand 508, Invosys HQ, was busy throughout the two days, with our Sales team kept well and truly on their toes. We ran a series of demos of Number Manager, Involve and the newly launched Invosys Hosted and demand was such that we introduced a booking system for delegates keen to learn more of what Invosys are about.

We were visited by lots of our existing customers as well as generating many new leads, which was great news all round.

A key highlight was The Invosys Innovation Space, an area where visitors could come together to discuss ideas, hold meetings or simply to take time out from the event and recharge their batteries – as well as their phones.

As a company renowned for market-leading products and cutting edge technology, we created the space as part of our commitment to shake up the channel and nurture the shift towards innovation within

The space was in constant use, with the Innovation magazine and lanyards drawing particular interest.

It was refreshing to see signs of innovation in action across the exhibition. Put simply, it’s the very heartbeat of the channel and we want to encourage more companies in the industry to adopt this mind-set.

There’s been a need for change in telecoms for some time. The way we communicate continues to progress, with people contactable 24 hours a day, across various mediums, anywhere in the world – yet many companies telecoms are not catching up quickly enough.

We’re sure that Channel Live – along with the Innovation Space, will inspire others to follow.
