Up and away on Invosys fun day

Author: Grace Grieve

At Invosys, from day one, we’ve been clear that our people are the absolute heartbeat of everything we do.

We work hard to cultivate a family atmosphere where everyone is valued and knows they are a key cog in the Invosys wheel – regardless of their role in the company. Indeed, almost all of our team are people we’ve worked with in the past, or come via personal recommendations from our staff.

This approach has paid off and over the years we have recruited some true superstars, absolute experts in the channel, who are committed to flying the Invosys flag.

So every once in a while, we think it’s only right to say a huge thank you to our employees – and this year we took it one step further and also thanked their families for all of their wider support.

Last weekend saw the Invosys team descend on Barton Airfield just outside Manchester. What is an innocuous field for most of the year was transformed into a family fun zone with giant inflatables including bouncy castles and a huge helter skelter, a rodeo machine and many supersized games.

From babes in arms to the more – ahem – mature members of the team, the Invosys family came together for an afternoon of fun and laughter.

No Invosys party is complete without food and drink and a focal point was the bar and burger shack, which provided some of the best fast food we’ve had in a long time. To top it off was a popcorn stand and an ice cream van for the little and big kids alike.

If seeing the CEO taking a beating on a blow up jousting station wasn’t enough, we had arranged an extra special surprise for the team – an exhilarating helicopter ride over our beloved Manchester, where Invosys is based and most of us live.

The private flights were a highlight of the event as we took to the skies for a birdseye view of Old Trafford, Manchester Airport and even the Invosys offices.

The day was a huge success and reinforced what we have known all along. We really do have the best team in the channel.
